Lastovo is an island in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. It is located 14 km to the south of the island Korcula. Around the island of Lastovo there are 46 islets and reefs. The island Lastovo is the largest island in the Lastovo archipelago, which branches to the northeast toward islets Lastovnjaci and Vrhovnjaci.
The biggest indentedness of on the island have northwestern and west coasts.

Lastovo is a small island so it is ideal for sightseeing by foot, or by bike and scooter. During the summer season bike and scooter on the island can be rented at any time. From Lastovo we warmly recommend a full day excursion by boat to the sandy island Saplun in Lastovnjaci archipelago, as well as a trip to the island of Mljet or to a distant but extremely attractive Palagruža.
