Town Split with its area of 79.33 km ² and 20.0000 inhabitants, is the largest Dalmatian city and the second largest city in Croatia.
Split is situated at the foot of park forest Marjan.

The city center is Diocletians Palace which is under UNESCO protection since 1979, and a symbol of the city of Split.
Diocletians Palace was built in the 4th century, and still preserved in excellent condition. The attraction of the palace is the church of Sv. Duja, which is located at a stone's Square Peristyle, and from its bell tower stretches fabulous view.

On the other side of the waterfront, after the bus station and the port, is the most popular beach in Split Bačvice the center of night life and entertainment.
